Hailing from the North East of England, Feed Your Wolves is fast growing a reputation for it’s own brand of Indie/Alt rock. The ambitious 16 track debut album, Save Yourself, has drawn interest from both sides of the pond. Single releases America, Lonely and title track Save Yourself have featured on BBC Introducing, and produced number one positions on the UK and US indie charts.
Described as the epitome of do-it-yourself rock, the guitar driven songs entwine energetic rock with feelings of loss, hope and change.
With influences from Taking Back Sunday, Death Cab for Cutie, Bon Iver and Kings of Leon, Feed Your Wolves creates a true and consistent sound. A brand new 5 track EP is due for release later this year.
Feed Your Wolves is a solo project from start to finish. All music is written, performed, recorded and produced by Andy Davidson as well as all artwork, website and merchandise design.
“I have always wanted to write and produce my own album but always had an excuse not to. Enough of that, I’m doing it. I don’t know how far this will go, but for my own self satisfaction, it’s something I have to do.”
“Music has been my life since I can remember. I currently sing in a cover band called Last Anthem, teach in some schools and do bits of graphic design. These are all jobs I love but I will never get away from my passion of writing songs and creating something from nothing. Enough time has passed by not doing it, it’s time to change.”
The 8 track album releases on 12th December 2023. Written and recorded by Andy Davidson, this album includes (what has become) a signature intro track. The intro tracks tend to be shorter and and find myself being a little more experimental with them. Inspired by PIXAR, who always adds a short film to the beginning of their feature length films, this will continue to feature in every EP and album release. ‘Colourful’ is the third album released by Feed Your Wolves following on from ‘Touch The Sky’ and of course the debut album ‘Save yourself’.
There are two wolves always fighting inside me.
One is filled with anger, hate, jealousy, shame and lies.
The other wolf is filled with love, joy, truth and peace.
The battle rages inside of you and everyone.
Which wolf will win?
The one you feed.
